Lawler Gear offers many services to its customers. If you need just one gear of hundreds, we can supply your gear needs.

Types of Gears Gear types made at Lawler Gear include spur, helical, bevel, splines, sprockets, rack and worm. Gears can be made in the inch or metric system.

Reverse Engineering Lawler Gear can reverse engineer your gear from a sample if you do not have a drawing. We have several resources to work with including our in house computer programs and our analytical gear inspection equipment to ensure your gear is exactly the same as your sample. Damaged and worn gears can be reverse engineered as well.

CNC Gear Hobbing Lawler Gear can CNC hob your spur, helical and worm gears up to 20 inches in diameter and up to 2 DP. The CNC hob allows us to do multiple cuts, crowning, and taper cuts. It is also possible to cut different gears on the same part even if the pitch or number of teeth is different.

Gear Boxes Lawler Gear can repair or rebuild your gear boxes. We can replace gears, shafts, bearings, and seals in most cases for 50% or less of the cost of a new gear box.

Other Services Other services include broaching keys and splines, keyseating, vertical slotting, CNC turning and milling, grinding, and gear inspection.
